As the final part of our Haughton Summer Festival to celebrate the 300th Anniversary of Haughton Hall, we are pleased to announce the second of two outdoor productions by the Chapterhouse Theatre Company.
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
Take a trip down the rabbit hole with Chapterhouse Theatre Company this summer as they present the classic tale of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Join Alice as she stumbles into the magical world of Wonderland and meet a whole host of colourful characters. From the unforgettable White Rabbit and the madcap Mad Hatter to the terrifying Queen of Hearts, Alice’s journey couldn’t be filled with more adventure. Presented in beautiful Victorian costume and alive with song, dance and original music, this is a production to delight the entire family in our stunning open-air theatre.
The doors open at 2pm with a range of hot food including beef burgers, hotdogs and BBQ snacks on sale along with a full bar service before the performance and during the mid way break. (You may also bring your own picnic food but please take away your rubbish afterwards!)
We are also offering a pre-booked and paid offer with a Mad Hatters Afternoon Tea for £15 for adults & £10 for children aged 4 upto 11 years old, and served from 2 - 4pm served in the marquee. Children under 3 are free.
The afternoon tea will include a selection of sandwiches, home-made cakes and sweet treats, scones and jam/cream with a selection of tea's or coffee (or fruit squash for children). We can provide a gluten free alternative if booked in advance. Please specify if you have any other dietary needs and we will try to accommodate if possible.
