Art-K is an art club in Ironbridge which provides weekly tuition on a Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saurdays to children 6-16 and adults of all ages! We develop creativity, experiment with brush skills and techniques, and explore a range of paints - watercolours, acrylics, inks, oil pastels and soft pastels. Children and adults work weekly on projects such as canvases, clay modelling, 3D and 2D work and papier-mâché. We also have fun half term workshops! The RAF Museum's Conservation Centre will be opening its doors to visitors this November for access to aircraft in our conservation hangar. For for one week only, visitors will be able to view progress behind-the-scenes being made on a range of aircraft such as the Wellington Bomber which is one of only two survivors from the Second World War. Other projects include the LVG and Range Safety Launch. Not only will visitors get the chance to view rare aircraft but the chance to speak to Museum Technicians, Apprentices and Volunteers who will be available throughout the week to speak with visitors about their work and answer any questions you may have on their current projects.
